Rakesh Anugula

Rakesh believes that honest politics with modern thinking can transform the society.  With that belief he left his lucrative career in corporate world and joined politics in 2013. He is currently the BJP State Official spokesperson and a key leader of Telangana.

Rakesh graduated from BITS Pilani and won Karthikeyan Memorial Award, an award given to the best graduating student of BITS. He founded Nirmaan Organization, an NGO benefiting thousands of needy in the areas of education and employment. He is a frequent TV panelist and a columnist in Swarajya, Hans India, Eenadu etc. Rakesh is passionate about people friendly and development centric policy making, technology driven initiatives for corruption free and good governance and preservation of heritage sites.


Yeshwanth Reddy

Yeshwanth holds a bachelors degree from BITS-Pilani and a Masters degree from the. Indian School of Business.
He’s currently working as a Consultant to the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India(GOI).

During his time at the Indian School of Business, he has co-founded the Public Policy Interest Group over there. Previously, He also worked with the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited and the Government of Andhra Pradesh on various developmental projects.

Sidhartha is a final year Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at BITS Pilani. He is the founder of Tarani, a social initiative that emphasizes on the personal social responsibility of students of BITS Pilani by providing them opportunities to give back to the community on their special occasions.

He believes the Gandhian philosophy that the future of India lies in its villages and is very keen to work on Rural Development. He’s equally enthusiastic to work on Poverty alleviation and on revamping the Education systems in the country.

Harsha is a final year student at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode and a proud alumnus of BITS Pilani.  He loves to make complex things lucid so that people would understand and participate. A Quintessential Optimist, A by product of capitalist institution in a communist place, he believes that the Right may not always be right but the left is definitely wrong.

Disha is currently pursuing M.Sc. Chemistry and B.E. Chemical at BITS, Pilani. Passionate about Digital Marketing, Disha is also a content writer in making. She’s a core member at Nirmaan Organisation, working on empowerment of women in Pilani.

Snehith has graduated with B.E (Hons.) from BITS-Pilani. He is presently working with Indian Foreign Services.

Narahari Venugopal Reddy

Narahari VenuGopal Reddy is a popular agricultural activist of Telugu states. He is a passionate proponent of cow based zero budget farming and works with Padma Sri Subash Palekar who has inspired farmers in Maharashtra and in other parts of country to write success stories in the area of zero budget farming. He has widely toured across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states and worked with different farmer groups and irrigation engineers to propose different irrigation schemes along Krishna and Godavari rivers for the benefit of farmers.

Dr Hussain Yaganti

Dr Hussain Yaganti is a PhD holder from University of Hyderabad. Presently working at BITS Hyderabad campus as Assistant professor in department of Economics and Finance. His area of interest includes macroeconomic issues, agricultural economics. He has published in the area of commodity futures market and agricultural marketing. He is currently researching in the area of agriculture marketing strategies and agri business related issues.

Prof. K. Purushotham Reddy

Former OU professor is an eminent academician, environmental and development activist. He is a resource person for many Universities and their Academic Staff Colleges in the state, MCRHRD, AP Judicial Academy, MIT School of Government Pune, ESCI, and Center for Cultural Resources Training (CCRT) etc. Prof. Reddy took up the environment cause when there was not much focus on it in the 80s. He spearheaded agitations against pollution in the industrial areas of Jeedimetla and Patancheru.He has been conferred the Justice Kuldeep Singh award instituted by the Capital Foundation Society for his outstanding contribution to environmental protection and sustainable development cause. He is also a regular columnist in daily newspapers, contributing articles on various environmental and development issues.
